Describe scope accurately
A qualification in counselling does not establish competence in every issue or format. Couples, children, addiction, trauma, family violence, complex mental health concerns and other specialist areas may require additional training, supervision and service systems. Practitioners should describe what they currently do, not every topic they hope to work with later.
Online availability should also be described carefully. A profile should explain where the practitioner is based, the areas they serve, how emergencies are handled and whether in-person alternatives or local referrals are available. A national website listing does not make a practitioner suitable for every jurisdiction or risk level.

Do not upload identity documents, certificates containing unnecessary personal information, insurance records, police checks or client material through this initial expression-of-interest form.
